SEATTLE - Seattle U softball has announced two weekends of winter camps at the end of December at Astro Gym (550 14th Ave) located on Seattle University's campus. On December 21-22 and December 28-29, students of various ages can hone and sharpen their hitting, catching and pitching skills with the assistance from some of the best minds and elite technologies.
Each Saturday and Sunday is made up of six separate sessions in one of the aforementioned areas and runs for an hour and a half. Saturdays provide opportunities for players from ages 6-12 to grow in one of the three areas of pitching, hitting or catching, while those aged 13-20 can join afternoon hitting sessions. Sundays are available from morning through evening for players ages 13-20 who want to take part in any or all three areas. All sessions are limited to 10 players.
Hitting sessions will utilize HitTrax technology to provide next level analysis sent directly to the individual. Small group instruction in all areas of hitting, catching and pitching provides a learning environment for athletes to get down to the basics while also expanding on advanced skills needed for the next level.
Pitchers must provide their own catcher for the four available pitching sessions.
Discounts are available for those that purchase multiple sessions over multiple days and t-shirts are available for campers that sign up for at least two sessions.
