The game-winning goal was credited to Richy Lapointe-Guevara, who scored his fourth goal of the season, and second vs CBU this season, right before the halftime break. The three goals on the night made it four straight matches with three or more goals for the red hot Redhawk attack.

California Baptist would get one goal on the night as they were the first to find the net in the second half, but that would be the lone blemish for Seattle U on the night. Goalkeeper Charlie Lanphier made four saves on the way to his 10th win of the season and his first postseason victory in net.

The win sets up a showdown with San Jose State in Saturday's WAC championship match. The Redhawks defeated the Spartans, who knocked off the top-seeded San Diego State Aztecs in the other semifinal match, back in late October. Seattle U will look to make it back-to-back appearances in the NCAA tournament with a win, something they haven't done in the modern Division I history.

Kickoff for the title game is scheduled for 5pm PT kickoff from GCU Stadium in Phoenix, AZ. The match will be streamed live on ESPN+ and internationally on WACInternational.tv.
