SEATTLE - Now with the season in full swing, the Seattle University Redhawks will go to ITA Northwest Regionals next. This year, the ITA Regionals are hosted by Cal, with the five-day event beginning October 11.

This will be the second competition of the fall season for the Redhawks. The season began with the Husky Invitational, where the Redhawks competed with Denver, Washington State, and host Washington. Lamija Avdic, Lola Tavcar, and Daria Nazarenko all earned singles wins in that competition, with Avdic going a perfect 2-0 in singles play. Nazarenko, paired with Liliya Dimova, also earned a doubles win.

Nazarenko, Larissa Teramura, Mina Yazadzhiev, and Natalia Michta all made their Redhawk debuts at the Husky Invitational.

Last year, at ITA Regionals, the Redhawks earned four singles victories. Dimova won twice at that tournament in singles and earned a doubles win as well.

After ITA Regionals wraps, the Redhawks will have two more competitions for the fall season. Seattle University will take part in the WAC Fall Invitational and the Gonzaga Invitational. The WAC Fall Invitational takes place in Abilene, Texas October 24-27. The Gonzaga Invitational will run concurrently, taking place October 25-27 in Spokane.
