SEATTLE – Seattle University men's basketball adds a fourth nationally televised broadcast to the 2024-25 slate as the January 30th Western Athletic Conference match-up at Grand Canyon has been selected to air on ESPNU. The game is one of three WAC match-ups added to ESPN's linear schedule for the upcoming season.
The game will tip off at 9 p.m. Phoenix time, 8 p.m. Pacific from Global Credit Union Arena in Phoenix, marking the first of two conference meetings between the Redhawks and Lopes.
Seattle U will also appear on national television for back-to-back games in November as part of the 2024 Vegas Showdown, presented by ESPN. The Redhawks will face Furman on Nov. 26 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Tip time is 8:30 p.m. PT on ESPNU. Three days later, on Nov. 29, Seattle U will travel to Durham, N.C. for a first-ever meeting with Duke at Cameron Indoor Stadium. Tip off is set for 4 p.m. PT on the ACC Network.
The Redhawks will also appear on the Big Ten Network on Dec. 20 when they head north on I-5 to face Washington on Dec. 23. Tip time is 7 p.m. from Alaska Airlines Arena.
All remaining games for the 2024-25 season, home and away, are currently stlated to air on ESPN+.
Seattle U enters the season riding a stretch of three consecutive 20-win campaigns, most recently capping the 2023-24 season with 23 wins and the College Basketball Invitational Championship. The 2024-25 season officially gets underway on Wednesday, Nov. 6 at Eastern Washington. Seattle U's home opener is slated for Saturday, Nov. 9 versus Liberty. Tip off is 5 p.m. from the Redhawk Center.
