SEATTLE - The Seattle University Redhawks will jaunt across the border for the Monterrey Collegiate Classic, held in Monterrey, Mexico. This will be the final competition of the fall season for the Redhawks, who will next be in action in February.

The tournament will take place over two days, with 27 holes of golf each day. 11 other teams will take part: host George Washington, Creighton, Davidson, Loyola (MD), North Dakota State, Richmond, Tarleton, Utah State, UTRGV, Valparaiso, and VCU. The Campestre Monterrey course is a par-72 course.

This is the first time the Redhawks have competed outside of the U.S. since 2015, when they took part in the Cabo Del Sol Intercollegiate in Los Cabos, Mexico.

The Monterrey Collegiate Classic is the second tournament of the week for the Redhawks, who finished ninth at the Leadership & Golf Invitational in Monterey, California. Kevin Li, Will Koch, and Walker Lamb all had individual rounds under par at that tournament.

All seven golfers to see action thus far this season have recorded at least one round below par. Seattle University's best round of the season thus far belongs to Li, who had a -6 under, 65 at the Palouse Collegiate to begin the season.

The season will kick back into action in February when the Redhawks head to the Mesquite Invitational. That tournament, in Mesquite, Nevada, will begin February 16.
