SEATTLE - Seattle U men's soccer fought to a draw with UNLV, 1-1, Thursday night at Championship Field. Titus Washington scored the lone goal for the Redhawks on the night, netting his team leading 6th of the season.
Washington found the back of the net in the 29th minute of the first half, when he headed in a cross from Taketo Onodera. It was the first assist of the season for Onodera and the second of his Seattle U career.
After taking the 1-0 lead into the break, it was UNLV who were the only team to score in the second as they found the equalizer in the 66th minute. Despite out shooting the Rebels 22-5, and 10-3 in the second half, the Redhawks couldn't find the game winner as the two sides split the points.

Seattle U will be back in action on Sunday, Oct. 13, when they host Utah Tech. Kickoff from Championship Field is scheduled for 1pm PT.
