SEATTLE - The Seattle University Redhawks finished strong at the 54-hole Leadership & Golf Invitational, the first tournament of the year. Rivekka Jumagulova had the best score of any Redhawk, finishing 18th overall with a +3 across the two-day tournament.
Jumagulova wrapped up the tournament with a -2 on the final 18 holes, helping her climb up the standings. Jumagulova finished day one at +5, with a +1 over 73 in round one and a +4 over 76 in round two, before her -2 on Tuesday.
Annika Cruz was next among Redhawks, finishing at +10 over 54 holes. Cruz had two rounds at +2 over 74, reaching that mark in rounds one and two. Shayna Lu finished just behind Cruz with a +11. Lu started the tournament with a +3 in round one, then a +2 in round two as her best round of the tournament.
Tsara Ralamboarison and Jeanne Padillo also finished strong. Ralamboarison finished at +12 over 54 holes, with a best round of +2. Padillo was at +13 overall and also finished the first round at +2, matching Ralamboarison.
The Redhawks finished 12 in the 16-team tournament, ahead of Santa Clara, Eastern Michigan, Fresno State, and Wyoming.
