Tampa, FL. - 23rd ranked Seattle U men's soccer will open their 2024 campaign with a trip to the Sunshine State to face South Florida and No. 19 Central Florida this weekend. The Redhawks will open the season with a battle vs the Bulls on Thursday, Aug. 22, before heading east to Orlando for a top-25 showdown with the Knights. Both games will be broadcast live on ESPN+.

- The Redhawks open the new season at No. 23 in the first United Soccer Coaches Top 25 Poll. They were ranked 9th in the final poll of 2023, their highest ranking in program history.
- Seattle U was picked as the preseason favorites in the Western Athletic Conference. They received six of the ten first place votes in the coaches poll.
- R-junior Charlie Lanphier was named the WAC Preseason Goalkeeper of the Year. Lanphier won the inaugural award at the conclusion of last season after going 10-3-2 in net.
- Joining Lanphier on the preseason All-WAC Team are defender Jaden Manetta and midfielder Taketo Onodera. All three were named First Team All-WAC in 2023.
- 2024 marks year two of the Nate Daligcon era. He led the program to their sixth NCAA appearance in 2023 and was named the conference's Coach of the Year.
- The Redhawks have a heavy international influence in 2023, with 13 players being born outside of the United States.
