NEW ORLEANS, LA - Seattle U's men's and women's track and field teams were each honored with the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association's All-Academic team award. USTFCCCA honors teams each year for their academic excellence. To qualify, a team must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Seattle U's track and field teams join the cross country teams in receiving this award, with Redhawks cross country earning the All-Academic team award for five consecutive seasons.
This award comes on the heels of 24 Redhawks earning Academic All-WAC this spring. In addition to those conference academic awards, Azalea Groleau and Emily Harris were each named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team.
