KANSAS CITY, Mo. – For the seventh consecutive year, Seattle University men's basketball has earned the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Team Academic Excellence Award. In addition, nine Redhawks were named to the NABC Honors Court.

The NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards recognize men's basketball programs that completed the 2023-24 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. The NABC Honors Court, meanwhile, includes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2023-24 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.

The Redhawks compiled a 3.418 team GPA for the 2023-24 academic year, including an impressive 3.709 team GPA during the spring quarter. This marked a third straight honor for Chatfield while Levis, Pandža, Rajkovic, Reiley, Schumacher, Tyson and Williamson earned the honor for the second straight year. Christofilis was a first-time honorees as he was academically a junior in 2023-24.
