SEATTLE - Head coach Julie Woodward and Seattle U women's soccer have announced their 2024 season schedule. The Redhawks will be back in action at Championship Field for nine home matches in 2024, while also fielding a challenging road schedule.

"We are extremely excited about our upcoming soccer schedule," said coach Woodward. "This season promises to be an exciting journey as we face off against some extremely competitive teams."

The Redhawks will kick off the season by hosting a pair of exhibition matches at Championship field, starting with British Columbia (8/6) and followed by a match up with future West Coast Conference (WCC) foe in Washington State (8/9).

The non-conference slate will begin with a trip south to Eugene, as they face the Oregon Ducks on Thursday, Oct. 15. They will then return to Championship Field for their home opener vs Idaho on Sunday, Oct. 18. The following Thursday will be the always anticipated crosstown match up with Washington, this year's edition being hosted by the Huskies.

Seattle U will get back-to-back early looks at WCC action when they host Oregon State on Sunday, Sep. 8, before heading to the Rose City to face Portland just four days later.

They will open Western Athletic Conference play as a part of a six-match road trip starting in September. Following two stops in Portland and a one to Pocatello, ID, the Redhawks will face Abilene Christian on Saturday, Oct. 28, in Texas. That will be followed by two stops in Utah to face Southern Utah (10/3) and Utah Tech (10/6).

The final four matches of the conference and regular season will come at Championship field starting with Tarleton State on Saturday, Oct.12, and concluding with Utah Valley on Saturday, Oct. 26. The rematch of last season WAC Championship game will come on Thursday, Oct.17, as Grand Canyon makes the trek to Seattle.

"We fully expect for this to be a very competitive and fun season," Woodward added. "Our players have been working tirelessly in the off-season, and we cannot wait to see their hard work pay off"
