SEATTLE – Seattle University women's rowing student athletes Ruby Batch, Cecilia Logan and Sophia Schmidt were named to the 2024 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District At-Large Team.
This marks the second straight year that Redhawk rowers have been named to the Al-Large Team. Batch, Logan and Schmidt were three of six total Seattle U student athletes named to the All-District At-Large Team.
All three were regulars in the Seattle U Varsity 8+ boat all season long. Batch is a junior majoring in political science, Logan is a senior who earned her degree in political science earlier this month, and Schmidt is a sophomore majoring in international studeis.
The 2024 Academic All-District® Women's At-Large Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the athletic realm and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
