SEATTLE- Azalea Groleau and Emily Harris of Seattle University track and field/cross country have been named on the 2024 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team.
In order to receive the honor, student athletes must maintain at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average as well as hold a top-50 finish in a single event in their region.
The 2024 Academic All-District® Women's Track & Field teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the track, in the field, and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's track& field honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Groleau and Harris are a part of the women's cross country team that posted a 3.549 team GPA in the spring quarter, while women's track and field (3.282), men's cross country (3.419) and men's track and field (3.263) all enjoyed strong springs in the classroom.
