SEATTLE, WA - Seattle U track and field will be traveling to Orem, Utah to compete in the Western Athletic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships, taking place from May 9-11. The meet begins Thursday, May 9 at 8:30 am PST, followed by an 8:30 am PST start time on Friday, May 10 and concludes on Saturday, May 11 with a 10:00 am PST start time.
The meet will get underway on Thursday with the multis at 8:30 am PST with the 100-meter dash in the men's decathlon. The women's heptathlon begins at 9:15 a.m. PST with the 100-meter hurdles. The men's and women's hammer, women's pole vault, and women's javelin will also be contested on Thursday.
On Friday, the conclusion of the multis along with the long jump, shot put, and steeplechase finals will be held, along with a handful of track prelims. The meet concludes on Saturday with the remainder of the finals, concluding with the 4x400 relays at 4:00 pm PST.
Results are available via the MeetTrax website and mobile app with portions of the event being broadcast live on ESPN+. Thursday's broadcast coverage begins at 3:30 pm PST, Friday's start time is slated for 2:15 pm PST and Saturday will begin at 2:30 pm PST.
The Redhawks will hope to continue their impressive outdoor season after setting 5 new school records and 86 new personal bests during the regular season.
