SEATTLE - Seattle U baseball dropped their crosstown match up at Washington, 0-3, Wednesday night. The Redhawks threatened throughout the night but couldn't find the timely hitting as they dropped the first of three meeting between them and the Huskies.

SEATTLE - Seattle U baseball dropped their crosstown match up at Washington, 0-3, Wednesday night. The Redhawks threatened throughout the night but couldn't find the timely hitting as they dropped the first of three meeting between them and the Huskies. 

The Redhawks recorded five hits on the day, with two of them coming off the bat of catcher Grant Heiser. Six of the starting nine in today's lineup reached base, but SU stranded six runners. 

Jarek Woodward (1-4) received the loss after making his 4th start of the season while going two innings and giving up one earned run. The Redhawks used six pitchers in total  in a bullpen day. 

Seattle U now drops to 7-21 on the season and will return to conference play this weekend when they travel to Texas for a 3-game series with Tarleton State starting Friday, April 5.
