HARLINGEN, TX - Seattle U men's tennis was defeated by UTRGV in the quarterfinal round of the WAC Tournament this Thursday, April 18 with an overall score of 0-4.
In doubles play, the Redhawks began strong with Yu-Hsieh and Filip Stipic's 6-2 defeat over Will Roberts and Santiago Serrano. Michael Frank and Julian Worn then fell to Paolo Bonaguro with a score of 3-6. To complete doubles play, Veselin Kiselkov and Jun Sasagawa were defeated in the top spot, falling to Emilien Burnel and Ivo Isqueiro 4-6.
In singles play, Jun Sasagawa was defeated by Emilien Burnel (3-6, 4-6), and Michael Frank fell to Agustin Salazar (2-6, 4-6). To round out singles play, Dario Ristovski was defeated by Will Roberts (5-7, 2-6). All other singles matches were unfinished.
