HARLINGEN, TX - Seattle U women's tennis will be traveling to Harlingen, Texas to compete in the WAC tournament which will take place from April 18-20 at the HEB Tennis Center. The Redhawks will be competing against Abilene Christian in the quarterfinal round of the tournament this Friday, April 18 at 10:00 am PST.
Seattle U will be the no. 4 seed, while Abilene Christian will be the no. 5 seed. The winner of the match will move on to the semi-finals and take on either Utah Tech or Grand Canyon. The semi-final match will take place on Friday, April 19 at 10:00 am PST.
The Redhawks defeated Abilene Christian with an overall score of 4-3 during the regular season on March 28, with the win being sealed by freshman Anastasia Nikolova's singles win over Libby Blair (6-1, 7-6).
