STEPHENVILLE, TX - Seattle U women's tennis competed in a dual match against Tarleton this Saturday, March 30, falling with an overall score of 2-5. This defeat brings the Redhawks to a total conference record of 2-2 and overall record of 7-7.
The Redhawks were swept in doubles play, with Anastasia Nikolova and Yuna Kadowaki falling 4-6, Elena Kraleva and Lamija Avdic being defeated 2-6, and Lamija Avdic and Lola Tavcar fell with a score of 4-6.
In singles play, Elena Kraleva and Lamija Avdic were victorious in their matches with Kraleva defeating Emma Persson (4-6, 6-2, 10-4) and Avdic defeating Elsa Boisson (6-3, 6-4). Liliya Dimova fell to Martha Makantasi (4-6, 2-6), and Yuna Kadowaki was defeated by Noelia Lorca (3-6, 0-6). To round out singles play, Lola Tavcar was defeated by Ximena Morales and Anastasia Nikolova fell to Adeliya Mukhutdinova (5-7, 3-6), resulting in overall score of 5-2.
