EUGENE, OR - Seattle U baseball dropped game three of their series with Oregon, 2-9, Friday night at PK Park. The Redhawks hit into three inning-ending double plays on the night as they dropped their series with the Ducks.

"Good game gone bad," said head coach Donny Harrel post game. "We left scoring opportunities out there early and they scored each inning after a momentum shift when we were not able to execute. We just need to keep working to play good fundamental baseball to give ourselves more opportunities to have success."

Cole Kleckner and Hunter Komine combined for both Redhawk runs on the day. Kleckner would help SU strike first with a single in the 3rd that allowed Komine to score, Kleckner would then beat out a double play attempt by the Ducks in the 7th that once again allowed Komine to cross home.

Peter Chronowski (0-3) would be credited with the loss in his 7th start of the season on the mound, going 4 2/3 IP while giving up five earned runs.

The loss drops the Redhawks to 7-19 on the year. They will look to avoid the series sweep vs the Ducks tomorrow in game four. First pitch is scheduled for 12:05pm with Luke Alwood set to make the start.
