TULSA, Okla. – Seattle U softball (7-12) continued its weekend trip to Oklahoma on Saturday, falling in two contests against Miami, 2-10, and Tulsa, 3-12. Both contests took place at Collins Family Softball Field on the campus of Tulsa in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
MIAMI (OH) CONTEST
Seattle U did its best to get a comeback going in the third inning, scoring two runs on three hits. Karen Spadfora led off the inning with her first career home run, while Sydney Frankenberger followed right after her with a bunt single. Two batters later, Taylor Fitch walked which allowed Ava Sin to double to left center for an RBI.
- First Inning: Miami scored two runs.
- Third Inning: Miami scored four runs on three hits. Karen Spadafora hit a home run to left field. Ava Sin doubled to left center field for an RBI.
- Fifth Inning: Miami scored four runs on four hits.
The Redhawks looked to mount a comeback in the fourth inning, scoring two runs on three hits. Lily Garcia and Sydney Frankenberger marked back-to-back singles before pinch-hitter, Amanda Morris, recorded a walk to load the bases.
Mikee Morris brought home the Redhawks first run on an RBI ground out to third base, while Taylor Fitch knocked a single the opposite way for an RBI in the next at bat.

Seattle U pushed another run across home plate in the fifth inning, with Lily Garcia hitting the ball hard to first base for an RBI single.
TULSA CONTEST SCORING
- Second Inning: Tulsa scored seven runs on seven hits.
- Fourth Inning: Mikee Morris hit an RBI ground out to third base. Taylor Fitch singled through the right side for an RBI. The Golden Hurricanes scored five runs on four hits.
- Fifth Inning: Lily Garcia singled to first base for an RBI.
