ARLINGTON, TX – Seattle U women's tennis swept the WAC's weekly tennis awards for the week ending Mar. 24 with Elena Kravela being named both singles and doubles player of the week, and Jade Quintana joining Kraleva in doubles player of the week.
This award is the second weekly singles award for Kraleva, and comes after her sweep in both of her matches in the first weekend of conference play for the Redhawks. Kravela defeated Stephen F. Austin's Ksenia Mamontova (6-2, 6-2) and Grand Canyon's Natasha Puehse (6-4, 6-3).
Quintana joined Kravela on the doubles court. with the duo going 2-0 together over the weekend. The duo sealed the doubles point for the Redhawks against SFA by defeating Jemma Cave and Felicia Back (6-4). The duo collected another 6-4 victory over GCU's top doubles team of Natasha Puehse and Santa Strombacha.
