SEATTLE – Vasja Pandža, Seyi Reiley and Kobe Williamson have all been named to the 2023-24 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, announced Tuesday.
This marks the second consecutive year Williamson has earned a spot on the CSC Academic All-District Team while Pandža and Reiley are honored for the first time.
The Academic All-District teams, selected by CSC members, recognize the nation's top student athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. Student athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, must have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher and must compete in 90% of the season's games or have started at least 66% of the season's games.
Pandža has appeared in all 35 games this season, earning eight starts. He has 29 assists and 11 steals to go along with 1.4 points and 1.7 rebounds per game. He completed his undergraduate degree in marketing in just three years and is currently enrolled in Seattle U's MBA in Sport and Entertainment Management program.
Reiley averages 5.1 points and 5.0 rebounds for the Redhawks while tying for the team lead in shooting percentage at 59.6%. He has seven starts on the season and has appeared in all 35 games. In the classroom, Reiley is a strategic communications major set to graduate this June.
Williamson has been enjoying a breakout season on the court, averaging season highs of 9.1 points and 5.8 rebounds per game while also hitting a pair of game-winning shots. In the classroom, he is pursuing his undergraduate degree in biochemistry.
