BELLEVUE, WA - Seattle U baseball dropped game three of their series with Utah Tech, 4-13, Sunday afternoon at Bannerwood Park. After winning game one of the 3-game series, the Redhawks dropped the final two and the series to the Trailblazers.
After falling behind by five runs early, the Redhawks rallied back into the game with a 4-run effort in the 3rd, but those would be the only runs the offense produced on the day as Utah Tech would lead end-to-end in the loss.
Jarek Woodward (1-3) was credited with the loss on the mound, going two innings while giving up five earned runs.
This is the first home conference series loss for the Redhawks since May of 2022, when they dropped 2-of-3 to California Baptist. They now sit with a record of 7-16 overall and fall to a conference mark of 3-6. They will now turn attention to a 4-game non-conference series at Oregon starting Wednesday, March 27.
