BELLEVUE, WA - Seattle U baseball dropped game two of their 3-game series with Utah Tech, 2-7, Saturday afternoon at Bannerwood Park. The Redhawks scored the first two runs of the game, but the Trailblazers scored 7-unanswered to even the series at one apiece.
"We dug ourselves in a hole with the inability to throw secondary pitches and their offense took advantage of that," said head coach Donny Harrel. "We scored the two in the first and they did not adjust to their pitchers when they changed their pitch plan, so we have to make those changes much quicker to create more run opportunities."
The loss drops the Redhawks to 7-15 on the season and to 3-5 in conference play. They will look to take the series vs the Trailblazers in tomorrow's rubber match, with first pitch coming at 12pm PT.
