SACRAMENTO, CA - Seattle U mens tennis completed their weekend trip to California with a match against Sacramento State on Sunday, March 17. The Redhawks dropped the match with an overall score of 0-4.
In doubles play, Jun Sasagawa and Filip Stipic were defeated in their match against Mark Keki and Mate Voros (1-6). The duo of Michael Frank and Julian Worn showed strong in their match with a 6-1 defeat over Adam Chodur and Hayden Rand, keeping the doubles point in play for the Redhawks. Yu-Han Hsieh and Veselin Kiselkov then lost in a close match against Jan Silva and Jiri Novak (4-6), earning the Hornets the doubles point.
In singles play, Jun Sasagawa fell to Mark Keki (6-4, 6-1), Dario Ristovski was defeated by Adam Chodur (1-6, 1-6), and Veselin Kiselkov fell to Jan Silva (0-6, 2-6).
The Redhawks will continue their season with a home match against Abilene Christian on Saturday, March 30.
