SANTA CLARA, CA - Seattle U men's tennis traveled to Santa Clara, California to compete in a dual match against Santa Clara this Saturday, March 16. The Redhawks dropped the match with an overall score of 0-4.
In doubles play, the duo of Jun Sasagawa and Filip Stipic fell in their match against Guillame Dalmasso and Christian Lerby (4-6). Veselin Kiselkov and Yu-Han Hsieh were also defeated in their match against Luca Lemaitre and Tiago Boschmans (4-6), earning the Broncos the doubles point. Julian Worn and Michael Frank were leading their match against Sebastian Buxman and Lukas Maskow with a score of 5-4, but the match was not completed due to Broncos winning of the doubles point.
In singles play, Jun Sasagawa fell to Guillame Dalmasso (0-6, 3-6), Julian Worn was defeated by Sebastian Buxman (4-6, 2-6), and Veselin Kiselkov fell to Luca Lemaitre (2-6, 2-6).
The Redhawks will continue their weekend in California with a match against Sacremento State on Sunday, March 17 at 12:30 pm.
