QUICK HITS
- Seattle U had a four-game win streak snapped on Saturday, Feb. 29 as UT Arlington took an 82-62 win over the Redhawks.
- Seattle U moved to 18-11 overall and 11-7 in WAC play, dropping to fourth behind Grand Canyon, Tarleton and UT Arlington in the traditional league standings.
- Already having locked up a berth in the eight-team WAC Tournament, the Redhawks are now playing for seed. Entering the final week of play, Seattle U is third in the WAC resume seeding system with 0.69 points. UTA is in fourth with 0.39 points. The three and four seeds receive a bye in the tournament and will await the first-round winners in the quarterfinals.
- Seattle U has 18 wins on the season, inching closer to a potential 20-win season for a third consecutive year. The last back-to-back-to-back 20-win seasons was 1956-57, 1957-58, 1958-59.
- The 11 WAC wins continues Seattle U's double-digit conference wins streak for a third consecutive season, and the only three seasons they have hit the marker since joining the conference in 2012-13.
- Cameron Tyson scored 32 points on Feb. 29 versus UTA, bringing his collegiate career total to 2,035 and his three-year Seattle U total to 1,486. He sits 14 points from 1,500 at Seattle U and 46 points from tying No. 10 all-time at Seattle U (Jawaan Oldham, 1976-80, 1,530).
- The 20-point loss to the Mavericks was an anomaly this season as no previous game had been lost by more than seven points. Eight of the season's 11 losses have been by five or less points.
