NEW ORLEANS, LA - Seattle U men's and women's cross country teams have been named to the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association's All-Academic teams list for 2023.
A team must have a cumulative 3.0 on a 4.0 in the most recent grading period in order to qualify for this list. Both teams were well above this metric, with the women's team posting an impressive 3.73 cumulative GPA, and the men's team posting a strong 3.45 cumulative GPA.
"Congratulations to both programs for all the hard work they commit to their studies consistently each quarter," says head coach Kelly Sullivan. "We are all very proud of their leadership on the cross country course, the track, and in the classroom."
This is the fifth consecutive year that both the men's and women's cross country teams have been named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic list.
