CATHEDRAL CITY, Calif. – Seattle U softball (6-9) concluded action at the Mary Nutter Classic on Sunday morning, falling to No. 1 Oklahoma, 0-8, in six innings. The contest was the Redhawks final contest at the Mary Nutter Classic in Cathedral City, California, at Big League Dreams Sports Park.
Stefanie Madrigal began this contest strongly, allowing just one run over the first three innings and sending down the Sooners in order in the third. This play from Lily Garcia in the second inning was vital in keeping it close at that point.

Taylor Fitch finished the day two-for-two at the plate with two singles, while Katie Walling and Mikee Morris did their best to get some offense going in the third and fourth inning with singles of their own.
