SEATTLE, WA - Seattle U mens tennis hosted their first home match of the season against Arkansas this Saturday, February 17 at the Mercer Island Country Club. The Redhawks dropped the match with an overall score of 0-4.
In doubles play, Veselin Kiselkov and Yu-Han Hsieh were defeated by the duo of Gerard Planelles Ripoll and Connor Smillie (1-6). Filip Stipic and Jun Sasagawa paired up and fell to Jared Horwood and Benedikt Emesz (3-6), earning the Razorbacks the doubles point.
In singles play, Dario Ristovski fell to Alan Sau Franco (2-6, 1-6), and Michael Frank was defeated by Jake Sweeney (2-6, 0-6). To complete the match, Veselin Kiselkov fell to Connor Smillie (4-6, 3-6), resulting in an overall score of 0-4.
The Redhawks will continue their spring season with matches against Idaho on Saturday, March 9 and Idaho State on Sunday, March 10.
