PALM DESERT, Calif. – Seattle U women's golf opens the 2024 spring season on Monday, taking part in the Mountain Classic Matchplay, cohosted by Boise State and Wyoming. The three-day event is scheduled to take place at the Classic Club in Palm Desert, California.
The tournament field will include eight teams playing in a match-play format over the three-day event. First round seeding will be based on final 2023 fall season women's golf team rankings with the Redhawks matching up with Wyoming in the first round. Teams will advance through the bracket with a winner's bracket and consolation bracket and a match-play champion being crowned at the end of the three-day event.
The field of teams include: Montana State, North Dakota State, Northern Arizona, Portland State, St. Thomas and the cohosts, Boise State and Wyoming.
Seattle U will send Tsara Ralamboarison, Shayna Lu, Aaryanna Morris, Rivekka Jumagulova and Azumi Arai.
