Seattle U got the scoring started in the third inning, putting up three runs overall. Lily Garcia and Sydney Frankenberger knocked back-to-back singles on the right side of the field before Taylor Fitch brought Garcia home on an RBI double down the left field line.

Jasmine Wehn added some insurance in the sixth inning, entering the contest as a pinch hitter and sending the ball over the right field fence for a two-run, home run.
