Aannah Interrante and Peyton Howard tied for the lead in points on the day (14), with the former posting a career-high three made threes and the later knocking down a career-best 10 made free throws to go along with three steals.

Also marking a new career-best on the afternoon was Asta Blauenfeldt with a game-high five steals.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Redhawks got off to a quick start in this one, building as large as an eight point lead on this tough layup from Noemie Bariteau

The Wolverines cut into that lead during the second quarter, but Seattle U used a six-zero run to stay ahead by one at the halftime break.

A nine-nothing run opened the second half for the Redhawks, opening with back-to-back threes from Bariteau and Interrante. A late triple from Interrante pushed the game to all tied up going into the final quarter.

A back-and-forth start to the fourth quarter began the final period that stayed within five points the whole time.

With the Redhawks down three and under a minute remaining, Blauenfeldt knocked the ball away from UVU and found an open Interrante who took the contact and made the basket to make it a one point game. Utah Valley knocked down two free throws on the next possession to seal the contest.
