EUGENE, OR - Seattle U men's tennis wrapped up their weekend trip to Eugene, OR with a match against Oregon on Sunday, January 21. The Redhawks lost the match with an overall score of 0-7 and fall to a 1-3 record after being defeated by Pacific in their Saturday neutral site match.
Veselin Kiselkov and Dario Ristovski paired up against Matthew Burton and Quinn Vandecasteele, dropping the match (3-6). Yu-Han Hsieh and Jun Sasagawa also paired up to take on Matvey Greschner and Lachlan Robertson, and were defeated (2-6), earning the Ducks the doubles point.
In singles play, Julian Worn fell to David Cierry (2-6, 3-6), and Dario Ristovski was defeated by Matthew Burton (2-6, 0-6). Jun Sasagawa lost a competitive match against Zian Vanderstappen (2-6, 4-6, 4-6). Veselin Kiselkov was defeated by Vlad Breazu (2-6, 2-6), and Yu-Han Hsieh fell to Lenn Luemkemann (3-6, 2-6).
The Redhawks will continue competition with a trip to Portland, Oregon to take on Portland State and the University of Portland on February 2 and February 3.
