SEATTLE, WA - Junior Michael Frank and senior Julian Worn have been named the WAC Men's Tennis Doubles Players of the Week for the week ending Monday, 1/15.
Frank and Worn earned the award after teaming up and going 2-0, winning in dual matches against UC Riverside and Montana State on January 13 and 14. The duo of Worn and Frank fought hard in a competitive match against UC Riverside's Aarav Sane and Lucas Mszyca, earning the victory with a score of 7-6 and helping the Redhawks secure the doubles point. The pair followed with a strong victory against Montana State's Adrian Daniel and Jacob Huppin, defeating them with a score of 6-2.
The Redhawks will hope to keep their positive momentum going into their weekend trip to Eugene, Oregon to take on Pacific and Oregon on January 20 and 21.
