BOZEMAN, MT - Seattle U women's tennis concluded their weekend trip to Bozeman, Montana with a match against Montana State on Sunday, January 14. The Redhawks fell to the Bobcats with an overall score of 2-5.
Elena Kraleva and Anastasia Nikolova paired up to take on Marta Garcia-Reboredo and Hudson Hawkins, dropping the match (5-7). Lamija Avdic and Jade Quintana also paired up to compete against Andrea Cuquerella and Meg McCarty, falling (6-7) earning the Bobcats the doubles point.
In singles play, Elena Kraleva defeated Marta Garcia-Reboredo (6-4, 3-6, 6-2) and Anastasia Nikolova defeated Felicia Jayasaputra (6-4, 6-3).
Liliya Dimova fell to Meg McCarty (2-6, 2-6), and Lamija Avdic fell to Angel Bean (2-6, 1-4). Yuna Kadowaki was defeated by Jazmin Lerman (0-6, 2-6) and Jade Quintana was defeated by Andrea Cuquerella (1-6, 0-6).
The Redhawks will continue competition with a home match against Portland at 2pm on Friday, January 19th at the Amy Yee Tennis Center.
