BOZEMAN, MT - Seattle U men's tennis wrapped up their weekend trip to Bozeman, Montana with a match against Montana State on Sunday, January 14. The Redhawks fell to the Bobcats with an overall score of 1-6.

BOZEMAN, MT - Seattle U men's tennis wrapped up their weekend trip to Bozeman, Montana with a match against Montana State on Sunday, January 14. The Redhawks fell to the Bobcats with an overall score of 1-6. 

Veselin Kiselkov and Jun Sasagawa paired up against Max Relic and Andre Stewart in doubles play, dropping the match (4-6). Michael Frank and Julian Worn also teamed up to take on Adrian Daniel and Jacob Huppin, defeating them (6-2) and keeping the Redhawks chances for the doubles point alive. Yu-Han Hsieh and Filip Stipic were then defeated by Dario Ciobotaru and Kanika Jayathilake (4-6), earning the Bobcats the doubles point.

In singles play, Julian Worn was defeated by Max Relic (4-6, 4-6), and Filip Stic dropped his match against Dario Ciobotaru (4-6, 4-6). Jun Sasagawa fell to Andre Stewart (2-6, 4-6), and Michael Frank fell to Jacob Huppin (3-6, 7-5). Veselin Kiselkov lost a competitive match against Kanika Jayathilake, winning the first set (6-3), losing the next (6-7), and dropping the tiebreaker (12-14). Yu-Han Hsieh was the only singles winner for Seattle U, defeating Adrian Daniel (7-6, 6-3).

The Redhawks will be taking another weekend trip to Eugene, Oregon to compete against Pacific and Oregon on January 20 and 21.
