BOZEMAN, MT - Seattle U men's tennis started the season strong with a 4-1 win in their neutral site match against UC Riverside.
Jun Sasagawa and Veselin Kiselkov paired up to take on Joshua Roth and Justin Lamy, dropping the match with a score of 4-6. Julian Worn and Michael Frank also teamed up and defeated Aarav Sane and Lucas Mszyca in a close match with a score of 7-6. With the doubles point on the line, Filip Stipic and Yu-Han Hsieh stepped up to defeat Hugo Degrande and Lucas Suarez with a score of 6-3, picking up the doubles point for the Redhawks.
In singles play, Julian Worn defeated Joshua Roth in a competitive match, with scores of 3-6, 6-3 and 6-2. Filip Stipic dominated his match against Justin Lamy, with a score of 6-3 in two sets.
