- Seattle U won its third straight game, opening the New Year with a 70-53 victory over Utah Tech on Thursday.
- The win over the Trailblazers moved the Redhawks to 9-5 overall and 2-1 in WAC play.

- The Redhawks wont four straight meetings, including a 71-65 victory at the Redhawk Center to open WAC play on Dec. 31, 2022. Cameron Tyson scored 20 points to lead four players in double figures.
- California Baptist snapped the Redhawks' streak with an 84-63 win on Feb. 15, 2023, the most recent meeting in the series.
- Seattle U swept the home-and-home series in 2021-22, winning an OT thriller on Jan. 17, 2022 in Riverside, Calif., as Riley Grigsby drained a three to send the game into overtime and the Redhawks used a 13-0 run to dominate the extra frame and earn its third win on CBU's home court. On Feb. 9, 2022 at Climate Pledge Arena, Darrion Trammell drained a buzzer beating three to snap a 64-64 tie and give the Redhawks the victory.

A trio of Redhawks are racking up stats and closing in on significant milestone markers.
- Cameron Tyson checks in with 1,804 career points, 196 from 2,000 for his career. With 17 regular season games remaining, Tyson would need to average just over 11 ppg to achieve the feat.
- Tyson is also 245 points away from 1,500 points scored at Seattle U. The last player to do so was Riley Grigsby (2019-23) who finished with 1,501.
- Tyson could crack the Seattle U top-10 list in scoring. He is 275 points away from No. 10 Jawann Oldham (1976-80, 1530).
- Tyson also checks in with 431 career rebounds, needing 69 more to hit 500.
- Alex Schumacher has scored 1,438 career points, needing 62 more to hit 1,500 for his collegiate career.
- Schumacher also check in with 453 career rebounds, needing 47 more to hit 500.
- Kobe Williamson has 474 career rebounds, needing 26 more to hit 500.
NCAA ACTIVE CAREER LEADERS
Tyson's collegiate career total of 388 three pointers in 127 games played ranks third among all active Division I players (and third among players across all three divisions). He trails Texas' Max Abmas (456, 136 games) and Marshall's Kamdyn Curfman (416, 137 games).
RECORD BREAKERS
- Cameron Tyson drained four threes on Dec. 20 versus Louisiana Tech to bring his Seattle U career total to 241. His third three of the night pushed him past former record-holder Aaron Waite (1988-92).
- Kobe Williams tallied the 110th block of his career against Northwest on Dec. 9, moving him past previous Seattle U record-holder Aaron Menzies (2015-18) to become the outright record holder.
- Brandton Chatfield is working his way up the Seattle U career blocks top-10 list as well, checking in at No. 7 with 79.

- Cameron Tyson is riding a current streak of 16 made free throws, including a 13-for-13 performance on Dec. 20 versus Louisiana Tech. The streak is the longest for a Seattle U player since Tyson hit 23 consecutive free throws from Jan. 12, 2023 versus NM State through Feb. 1, 2023 versus Abilene Christian.
- Victor Rajkovic is also a perfect 15-15 from the free-throw line this season.
