SEATTLE – Seattle University's men's and women's basketball teams head to Las Vegas this week for the 2023 Hercules Tires WAC Basketball Tournament. After clinching their second consecutive 20-win season for the first time since 1963-64, the Redhawk men have earned the fourth seed in the 12-team bracket, while the women are seeded 11th among 12 competing teams.

SEATTLE – Seattle University's men's and women's basketball teams head to Las Vegas this week for the 2023 Hercules Tires WAC Basketball Tournament. After clinching their second consecutive 20-win season for the first time since 1963-64, the Redhawk men have earned the fourth seed in the 12-team bracket, while the women are seeded 11th among 12 competing teams.

The Redhawk men's fourth seed earns them a bye in the tournament's first round on Tuesday. They will open play on Thursday, March 9 in the quarterfinals round, facing the winner of fifth-seed Grand Canyon and 12th-seed UT Arlington. Thursday's game has a scheduled tip-off time of 2 p.m.

Women's play begins Monday, March 6 with first round games at Michelob ULTRA Arena in Mandalay Bay. As the 11th-seed, Seattle U will take on sixth-seed UT Arlington in the final first-round game, tipping off at 8 p.m. A victory over the Mavericks would move the Redhawks along to the 8 p.m. quarterfinal round game Wednesday, March 8 against third seed Grand Canyon.

HOW TO WATCH
All preliminary round games of the 2023 Hercules Tires Basketball Tournament will air live on ESPN+, with the women's championship game on March 11 airing on tape delay on ESPNU at 6:30 p.m. PT. The men's championship game on March 11 will air live at 8:30 p.m. PT on ESPN2.
