Softball Unveils 2024 Schedule

SEATTLE - Seattle U softball unveiled its full 2024 schedule on Friday, announcing its hosting of the 2024 Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Tournament for the first time since claiming the title at Logan Field in 2021. The Redhawks will host 14 games in total at Logan Field this season, headlined by women's college world series finalist, Stanford.

SEATTLE - Seattle U softball unveiled its full 2024 schedule on Friday, announcing its hosting of the 2024 Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Tournament for the first time since claiming the title at Logan Field in 2021. The Redhawks will host 14 games in total at Logan Field this season, headlined by women's college world series finalist, Stanford.

"Every season we are looking to compete against the best," said Head Coach Geoff Hirai. "Our culture is to go after the best team's and prove we can play with some of the best in the nation."

The Redhawks kick off the season with four straight tournaments, beginning with the Black and Gold Classic (Feb. 9-11) in Orlando, Florida, hosted by the 2023 American Athletic Conference Tournament Champions, UCF. A cohosted event by Santa Clara and San Jose State will follow from Feb. 16-18, before heading to the prestigious Mary Nutter Classic from Feb. 23-25 which will feature three contests against 2023 NCAA Regional teams. A doubleheader against women's college world series finalist, Oklahoma State, starts the final tournament of the spring at the Oklahoma State & Tulsa Invite from Mar. 1-2. 

Four contests against Portland State in Portland, Oregon, from Mar. 9-10 round out play before the WAC season begins, while Pac-12 powerhouses Oregon State (Mar. 27) and Stanford (Apr. 29) both make one game trips to Logan Field. The Redhawks will face off with a familiar Pac-12 opponent, Washington, once again this season, heading across Montlake on Apr. 8. 

In WAC play, Seattle U will host four home series with Grand Canyon (Mar. 15-16), Stephen F. Austin (Mar. 29-30), Utah Tech (Apr. 5-6) and Tarleton (Apr. 26-27) all coming to the Emerald City, while taking road trips to Abilene Christian (Mar. 22-23), Utah Valley (Apr. 2), Southern Utah (Apr. 12-13), Cal Baptist (Apr. 19-20) and UT Arlington (May 3-4).
