TUCSON, Ariz. - Seattle U women's basketball (1-10, 1-1 WAC) wrapped up the 2023 calender year on Sunday afternoon, falling to Arizona, 52-89. The final nonconference contest of the 2023-24 season took place at the McKale Center in Tucson, Arizona, on the campus of Arizona.

TUCSON, Ariz. - Seattle U women's basketball (1-10, 1-1 WAC) wrapped up the 2023 calender year on Sunday afternoon, falling to Arizona, 52-89. The final nonconference contest of the 2023-24 season took place at the McKale Center in Tucson, Arizona, on the campus of Arizona. 

Julianna Walker was the Redhawks leading scorer on the day, scoring 12 points with three made three pointers. The junior, point guard marked a career-best with seven rebounds. 

Asta Blauenfeldt also finished in double figures, chipping in 11 points to go along with a career-best four assists. 

HOW IT HAPPENED
Settle U and Arizona went back and forth in the first quarter, with Asta Blauenfeldt marking four of the first eight points. 

Arizona started to pull away in the second quarter, taking a large lead into the halftime break they never relinquished.
