SEATTLE – It was a career kind of night for Seattle University men's basketball Saturday night as the Redhawks returned from a week-long break for finals with a 101-46 win over Northwest University.
At the 8:12 mark of the first half, Kobe Williamson became Seattle U's all-time leader in blocks, turning away a Northwest jumpsuit for his 110th career block.
By the game's finale, a slew other Redhawks turned in career performances as Seattle U moved to 6-3 on the season.
Every Redhawk who saw the court scored, paced by Paris Dawson's 18 points, including four threes. Seyi Reiley tallied a career-high 15 points on 7-of-9 FGs and a back-to-back electric second-half dunks. Brody Nunn scored a career-high 12 points and freshman Malek Gomma tallied season high marks in points (12), rebounds (8) and assists (4).
Seattle U led 52-24 at the break and held Northwest to just 22 second-half points in the runaway win.
The Redhawks head back out on the road next week, traveling to face West Coast Conference member San Francisco on Wednesday, Dec. 13. Tip off from War Memorial Gym is set for 7 p.m.
