SEATTLE - Seattle U volleyball concludes its opening three match home stand this week, taking on UTRGV at the Redhawk Center on Thursday night. The Western Athletic Conference (WAC) matchup will be streamed live on ESPN+ with live stats available.

The Redhawks rank fifth in the WAC in blocks per set (1.93) and team attacks per set (34.56)
Arianna Bilby ranks first in the WAC in attacks per set (11.26), second in total attacks (608), third in points per set (4.06), kills per set (3.63) and points per set (4.06) and fifth in total kills (196), total points (219),
Naima Foster ranks third in the WAC in attacks per set (10.31) and total attacks (557) and seventh in kills per set (2.98).
Elif Teksoy ranks third in total assists (500) and fourth in assists per set (9.26)
Katlyn Sipes ranks ninth in the WAC in total digs (190).
The Redhawks and UTRGV are tied at nine-nine in the all-time series.
This is Michelle Cole's fourth season at Seattle U and sixth overall as a head coach
The 2023-24 academic year marks the 25th season of SU volleyball since the program was reinstated in 1999. This will be their 16th season as a NCAA Division I member and 12th as part of the Western Athletic Conference (WAC).
Seattle U added Felipe Nogueira as an assistant coach this offseason. Nogueira spent the past two seasons as the head coach of the Grand View men's volleyball program, receiving the AVCA Thirty Under Thirty award and guiding the Vikings to a 2022 NAIA National Championship and an overall record of 47-11.
