SALEM, OR-- Seattle U's cross country team will be traveling to Salem, Oregon to compete in the George Oja Invitational on Saturday, October 14th. The event is hosted by Linfield University and will take place at the Oak Knoll golf course. 28 men's and 31 women's university teams will be competing in the meet, a long with open/club and unattached individuals. The women's 6k will be at 10am, followed by the mens at 8k at 10:45am.
The Redhawks hope to shine once again at this meet, after the women's team earned second place and Yonas Sauers broke the school record for the men's at 8k at their last meet on October 1st.
