SEATTLE, Wash. - Seattle U women's tennis signs Yuna Kadowaki to the 2023 class, announces Head Coach Kristina Hollander
"I'm really happy to have Yuna join the Redhawk women's tennis squad" said Head Coach Kristina Hollander. "She's a talented and driven young player, who will bring a lot of experience and raise the level of our team."
Yuna Kadowaki is from Nishinomiya-shi, Hyogo-ken, Japan, and is currently competing for Sundai Kofu High School in Kofu-Shi, Yamanashi Japan. Kadowaki is yet another highly accomplished addition to the Redhawks recruiting class with multiple national level accolades. Kadowaki's accomplishments includes finishing as a quarter-finalist at the Japanese National High School Invitational Championship, a doubles title at a J4 ITF Championship in Miki, Japan, a singles and doubles championship at a J4 ITF Championship in Hyogo, Japan.
Yuna Kadowaki is the daughter of Yasuyaki and Mihoko Kadowaki. Both of her parents were collegiate touch football players in Japan, with her father Yasuyaki becoming a touch football national team player for Team Japan. Kadowaki plans on majoring in International Business with aspirations of pursuing a career in Sport Management.
