SEATTLE -- Seattle University's men's tennis team have released their 2023-2024 schedule, beginning with the ITA Fall Regionals Tournament right here in Seattle on October 5th-9th. The ITA Fall Regionals will be followed by the Gonzaga Fall Tournament on November 3rd-5th in Spokane, WA.
"I'm really excited for another year to start!" says head coach Kristina Hollander. "Our teams are stronger and better, and the fall season will be the perfect prep for the dual matches in the spring. Everyone is really pumped up and ready to compete" she continues.
Following the tournaments, the team will travel to Bozeman, MT to compete with Montana State on January 13th and UC Riverside on January 14th. Subsequently, the Redhawks will travel to Eugene, OR to play Pacific on January 20th and Oregon on January 21st. The team will return to Oregon, traveling to Portland and Newberg to compete against Portland State and Portland on February 2nd and February 3rd, followed by George Fox on February 9th.
The Redhawks will have their first home match against Arkansas on Saturday, February 17th. The team will have two more home matches, competing against Abilene Christian on March 31 and UT Arlington on April 14th. In between their home matches, the Redhawks will be traveling to Moscow, ID to compete against Idaho and Idaho State on March 8th and March 9th. Their Idaho trip will be followed by a trip to California to compete against San Francisco on March 15th, and Santa Clara on March 16th. Subsequently, the team will travel to Edinburg, TX on April 7th to compete against UT Rio Grande Valley followed by Phoenix, AZ on April 12th to compete against Grand Canyon.
The season will come to an end with the WAC tournament, taking place in Edinburg, TX beginning on April 18th and ending on April 20th.
