SEATTLE – Seattle U women's basketball and first-year Head Coach Skyler Young announced its 2023-24 non-conference schedule on Tuesday, featuring nine overall contests with four games at the Redhawk Center.
Young and the Redhawks will begin the home schedule with a meeting against his former school, Portland, on Nov. 14, while non-conference play concludes against Pac-12 powerhouse, Arizona, on Dec. 31.
The Redhawks unofficially open the 2023-24 campaign with an exhibition against Evergreen State on Nov. 2 at the Redhawk Center, marking the second straight season with an exhibition opener. SU hits the road for the opening weekend, traveling to the central part of California for contests with CSUN (11/9) and UC Irvine (11/11).
After hosting Portland, Seattle U will make the short journey across Montlake for a battle with Washington (11/18) before welcoming Cal Poly (11/21) that weekend. Portland State marks the final non-conference foe of November before two Western Athletic Conference (WAC) contests take the Redhawks into December. The final two home games of the non-conference schedule will occur in consecutive weeks, with San Diego State (12/11) and UTSA (12/19) both making the trek to the Emerald City.
