Q: How did your volleyball journey begin?
GALANOU: I began my athletics journey with ballet but quickly realized that a sport like volleyball was much more suitable for me.

Q: When did you start taking volleyball seriously?
GALANOU: After I had the opportunity to play for a few months, I really feel in love with the sport and decided to make it my passion.

Q: How did your recruitment process with the Redhawks go?
GALANOU: The coaches made it really easy for me. I reached out to them sometime after our season ended and they got back to me really quickly. They made my experience unique and I am excited to be a part of this family.

Q: When you aren't playing volleyball, what do you like to do?
GALANOU: I normally will be hanging out with my friends or organizing my place/room. I really enjoy walking around the city and finding local coffee shops that I haven't been to before.

Q: What do you like the most about Seattle University?
GALANOU: I really like how the school is located in a big city and has a similar student population to my previous one.

Q: Do you have any rituals or superstitions before a match or during?
GALANOU: I wouldn't say I have any real rituals but I always make sure to mentally and physically prepare myself in order to perform in the best way.

Q: If you could choose one superpower, what would it be and why?
GALANOU: I would like to be able to fly so I can have a cool view of the city.

Q: Is pineapple allowed on pizza?
GALANOU: No, pineapple is absolutely not allowed on my pizza. My go to would have to be bacon and ranch.

Q: What's your go-to midnight snack?
GALANOU: Goldfish

Q: You just won the lottery, what's the first thing you buy?
GALANOU: A house in a tropical place.
