SEATTLE – Seattle University men's basketball's 20-game Western Athletic Conference schedule has been announced and will consist of 10 home-and-home match-ups in 2023-24.
A teaser of WAC play tips off at the end of November as the Redhawks travel to reigning regular-season champs Utah Valley on Nov. 29. Seattle U returns home Dec. 2 to host the Thunderbirds of Southern Utah.
A pause in league action is in place until the New Year when the Redhawks host Utah Tech (Jan. 4) and California Baptist (Jan. 6). A three-game swing through Texas follows, including match-ups at UTRGV (Jan. 11), UT Arlington (Jan. 13) and Stephen F. Austin (Jan. 18), before a return to Seattle to host reigning WAC Tournament champ Grand Canyon on Jan. 20.
The Redhawks host Utah Valley a week later (Jan. 27) before a second meeting with the Lopes on Feb. 1 in Phoenix, and a Feb. 3 tilt at California Baptist.
Seattle U then plays five of its next seven games at home, hosting Abilene Christian on Feb. 8, Tarleton on Feb. 10, Stephen F. Austin on Feb. 22, UTRGV on Feb. 24 and UT Arlington on Feb. 29. A trip to Utah sits in the middle of the month as the Redhawks head to Southern Utah on Feb. 15 and Utah Tech on Feb. 17.
The regular season concludes at Abilene Christian (Mar. 7) and Tarleton (Mar. 9) in advance of the 2024 WAC Tournament at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.
